As You Roll Up and Put Your Flags Back in Storage

[Community Lifeline Center is highlighting its veterans programs throughout the month of May. This is the last in a series of articles about Veterans support.]
Think again about the veterans we all honored last weekend. The sacrifices for which they were remembered; the service they gave, and the ultimate price many of them paid. Wouldn’t it be great if all their needs could be met over two or three weekend holidays every year: what an easier job that would be. Alas, while the celebrations to honor them is a part time weekend job: the Community Lifeline Center need to support, assist and guide them is full time.
So, as you roll up the flag and put away your holiday decorations please keep a place in your heart and in your budget for our veterans all year long. And, please join CLC in thanking the partners we work with who have agreed to provide their services to Veterans in need:
- Texas Veterans Commission
- Law Office of Penny Phillips
- CLC’s Job Seeker Support Team
- Chuck’s Auto Repair Shop
- Allen Counseling Associates
- Catholic Charities
- Apex Counseling Services
- Dossett Dental

- Community Dental Care
- PrimaCare
- Any Lab Now|
- Texas AgriLife

- Who’ll be next?
